3.5 lakh students are getting official e-mail ID

Under Google Workspace for Education, 3.5 lakh students of colleges affiliated to National University are getting official e-mail IDs.  

Official e-mail IDs were given to 3 lakh 29 thousand 86 students of the 2021-2022 academic year of the Graduation (Honours) class on Thursday (February 16).

The piece of information has been conveyed in a press release from the National University.  

It has also been informed that all students will be given unique official e-mail IDs in phases.

Under Google Workspace for Education, 3.5 lakh students of colleges affiliated to National University are getting official e-mail IDs.  

It has also been informed that all students will be given unique official e-mail IDs in stages. The program was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of the National University, Professor Dr. Md. Mashiur Rahman.  

Official e-mail IDs were given to 38 thousand 817 teachers of affiliated colleges in across the country, 2 thousand 242 colleges, 74 teachers and 846 officials of National University on the day of inauguration.

While speaking as the chief guest in the opening ceremony, the vice-chancellor said Dr. Moshiur Rahman said, students can open new horizons in learning through official e-mail ID. As a result they will get unlimited storage. Here different universities of the world can make official contact for higher education. Similarly, there will be a great opportunity to save various important texts, documents, digital content. Also, communication with the university will be much easier for the students. This official e-mail ID will also play an important role in academic pursuits. Teachers, officials and employees are also given this official e-mail ID.  

University Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Nizamuddin Ahmed, Treasurer Professor Abdus Salam Howladar, Registrar, Deans of various faculties, Heads of various departments were also present.
